Then I polished the slides. IMHO, these are necessary steps to make the most of the precious few minutes of attention that you have during your presentations.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since the number of slides is limited (about 1 for 2 mns), polishing also means eliminating what's not necessary. The idea is to avoid this kind of ending: "Gosh, I'm late, I'll talk faster". That a sure way to loose your audience.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;How do I manage to prepare the slides in advance ?
